The A.V. Club's 10 M*A*S*H episodes

The A.V. Club recently posted a list of the 10 M*A*S*H episodes that they think best represent the series.

Some of their choices were episodes that tend to make all the "best of M*A*S*H" lists, but a few of them I didn't see coming at all. Does you agree that the list accurately represents the show? Are there any choices you particularly agree or disagree with? Is there an episode missing that you think should have been on the list, and which episode would you take off to make room for it?

I think GFA should have made it, really. I don't particularly think "Hawkeye" belongs, but I've never been a huge fan of that episode.

Agreeeeed, omg. I love you, Alan Alda, but not for an entire episode long monologue.

Also, I simply cannot take a list like that seriously if it doesn't include at least one Sidney ep. Preferably "Dear Sigmund".

I'm okay with GFA not making it, though, because I don't consider it a regular episode. It's separate/special in a way that makes it its own thing.

"Dear Sigmund" is a really important episode, agreed. It's an outside perspective of the people in the camp and the effects the war has on them; it's something that should definitely be included.

If not GFA, then the episode with the time capsule. It's not one of the best episodes, but it's a good retrospective.
